Meet Dr. Colón

Dr. Jeanette E. Colón joined Dr. Wiese's office in 2015. Dr. Colón is the only female Spanish speaking Board Certified OBGYN in Northwest Indiana. Dr. Colón had been in practice since 2009 before joining Dr. Wiese.

Dr. Colón received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. She went on to complete her medical degree at the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and her residency at the Hospital Episcopal San Lucas/Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico where she was chief resident of the OBGYN residency program. During that time, Dr. Colón remained affiliated to the Ponce Heath Sciences University, and the Hospital Episcopal San Lucas OBGYN residency program as an attending physician. In addition, she had medical students and residents rotating with and learning from her.
